NEWCARE’s mission is to improve the health and quality of life of Vietnamese people, especially vulnerable groups such as women and children, especially in rural and remote areas through application of innovative approaches to health promotion and social development.
Newcare focuses its research on the areas of gender, sexuality, sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, STDs, communicable diseases (especially for children under 5: EPI, ARI), nutrition, safe motherhood, smoking cessation, and health economics.
Newcare’s senior researchers have extensive knowledge and experience not only in conducting research studies but also in implementing intervention programs such as reproductive health projects and programs, expanded program of immunization (EPI) for children under 5 and pregnant women, malnutrition prevention for children under 5 and pregnant women, safe-motherhood, family planning, behavior change intervention programs for HIV (targeting IDUs, sex workers, male clients of sex workers, pregnant women, young people, MSM, and disabled young people).
Beside conducting research and implementing health promotion programs, NEWCARE provides clinical services in OB/GYN and sexual and reproductive health at NEWCARE Polyclinic at 79 PHU DOAN Street.
NEWCARE provides following services
1. OBSTETRICS and GYNECOLOGY:
Detection of early signs of tumor/cancer related to reproductive
system and breasts
Diagnosis and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD)
Diagnosis and treatment of infertility
Provision of family planning services

From Monday to Friday: 8.00 am – 19.00 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8.00 am- 17.00 pm

Examination Room 2:
Monday to Friday: Thu Le Pham,MD, senior OB/GYN specialist

Sunday: Que Thi Nguyen, MD, OB/GYN specialist
2. RADIOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS:
Provide 2-D and 4-D ultrasound service
Provide X- RAY service
3. THE PSYCHOLOGICAL, SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH CONSELLING SERVICES
Walking counseling and by appointment
Counseling before and after examination, test, treatment and operation (Free of charge)
